Making a home insurance claim
If you have been involved in an accident it is important that you contact us on 1890 953 953 or submit your claim online.
In the event of damage to your home:
- You will be asked to provide details of your loss. We will then register your claim and provide you with a claim number that should be retained for all future correspondence.
- You will need to obtain an estimate for repairs or replacements as soon as possible
- Depending on the type of claim and value involved we may;
a) arrange for one of our In-House Claims Appraisers to personally call on you.
b) appoint an independent Loss Adjuster to deal with your claim on our behalf.
c) contact you by telephone to progress your claim - It is important to note that you should not go ahead with repairs (other than emergency repairs to limit damage) prior to our approval.
- Please do not dispose of any damaged articles before we have had an opportunity of examining them ourselves, or without our approval.
