Making a car insurance claim
If you have been involved in an accident it is important that you contact us on 1890 953 953 or submit your claim online.
In the event of an accident:
- You are obligated by law to stop.
- Once stopped ensure your own safety first and then ascertain if anybody else involved is injured, if so call the emergency services.
- You need to take a note of the registration number of any other vehicles involved, the names and addresses of any other people involved and potential witnesses.
- You should provide the same details to the owner of the other vehicles involved.
- Do not accept responsibility without consulting your Insurer.
- Contact your insurance company as soon as possible.
- Keep a record of all injuries, damage sustained and if possible draw a sketch map of the scene to allow for better explanation of the circumstances at a later stage.
