Quotation Assumptions

You must be able to agree with all of the following assumptions in order to take out a valid Policy of Insurance with us.

Quick Car Insurance Quote:

The Quick Car Insurance quote assumes that your car is under 8 years old and that you meet full underwriting eligibility criteria which is established through the full quote process.

Data relating to other Drivers on your Policy:

Before you complete an insurance quotation for a Policy including any drivers in addition to yourself you should ensure that you have their consent to provide their personal and sensitive personal data. We would strongly recommend that you read the Data Protection Statement which outlines the purposes for which we use data collected.

Use of external databases:

In the process of providing a quotation we may verify claims information from an insurance industry claims database administered by the Irish Insurance Federation. We may also check vehicle details from the National Vehicles File sourced from the Department of Transport and a shared industry vehicles claims database administered by the Insurance Industry Federation.  The use of external databases does not remove your obligation to answer all questions truthfully and tell us all facts likely to influence how we assess the insurance proposal.

You or your Named Drivers:

• Have never been disqualified from driving, convicted of any driving or criminal offence, or have any prosecution pending for any driving or criminal offence
• Have not been refused insurance or renewal of insurance, had any special terms or conditions imposed or had insurance cancelled by any company Do not suffer from any medical condition that would impair your/their ability to drive.

The Insured Vehicle:

• Is owned by and registered in your name, or your spouse/partner's name.
• Is normally parked at your home address.
